St. Louis Blues’ P.K. Subban gets a new look in black jersey

STL — The St. Lucie County Health Department says it is investigating whether a St. Petersburg, Florida, man who recently died of complications from a blood clot suffered a pulmonary embolism.

In a statement released Wednesday, the department said it had received a call Wednesday from a St Lucie Police Department officer who was investigating the death of 59-year-old Gary D. Jones Jr.

Jones, a retired St. Pete police officer, was found by his wife in the living room of their home, the St. George Times reports.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The department’s statement says an autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
